There were more bad effects if you were the one being concurred. New religion was forced on to you mainly Christianity. You had to adopt western civilization and take there government , way of life ,language and other European qualities. If being concurred you are forced to change you tradition and culture which have been the same for your whole life ,because Europeans want you to be like them. your land get pillaged for its resources and to make trade routes. Your government is changed against your will. in the new imperialism people getting conquered weren't considered or respected!
