I have become more knowledge about the World.

Current events are present news that involves people places or things. A recent Current Event is in Somalia piracy is a problem because Somalia has a poor economy and fishing has been bad lately so they are stealing from ships passing in the Red Sea. In Greece they are having economical problems and drug problems. The drug problems are probably because of the economy and people are trying to make money illegally. The two examples I talked about are mostly because of countries not having money so are many other current events. History of the Twentieth Century is up and downs with the New Imperialism and WWI. New Imperialism had positive and negative effects. Negative effects were when places were conquered by the US, Japan, or Europe, they were westernized and their traditions weren’t kept or respected. Positives were the power gained by the conquering countries and the countries that got conquered were often helped with technology and other things. WWI was caused because of many reasons the imperialism, assassination of Arch Duke Ferdinand, and countries forming alliances. The war had the Central Powers vs. the Allies. The end of WWI resulted in the Allies winning and millions in deaths and debts.

Human Diversity is separating people into groups they don't really exist like race. Race is people separating people intro groups by skin color or other characteristics. People can get confused on race and nationality but they aren't similar. Saying someone is black or white is being raciest but saying someone is Mexican, African American is just talking about their nationality. Separating by "race” does nothing it is not accurate gets nothing accomplished and causes problems.

The earth is divided into seven continents. The earth is full of extremes weather it be climate, wealth, geography or others. A country with good geography will be a success if it gives your fertile ground and many domestic animals with natural recourse or fuels. If a country has extremely rainy or cold weather it hinders productivity and people really don’t want to go to your country. Currently Europe and the US and other countries with same longitude were successful early on because wheat and barley grew in there environment and the majority of domesticated animals were found around here. When these countries didn’t need to worry about food this gave them time to advance. The diverse places of the earth are cause by the earth.

Countries have developed different types of cultures all over the world. Cultures are shaped by the people. For example if the people are struggling for food and believe the gods are mad and that’s why there not getting food then they root of there culture is going to be to please there gods. Culture develops how the people develop and problems in culture are from social problems like inequality for example in France with the diverse social classes caused revolts. For example in Knyna kids are taken and trained to kill and if not they are killed because the LRA wanting to take over the goverment .
